Club Meetings
Monthly Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month at 6:30 pm.
Club Work Days
Work days are held the Saturday following the monthly meeting at 10:00 am.
Club grounds and Facilities
Club History and our Goal
Smokey Valley Sportsman's Club was founded in 1957 by Warren Miller, it has always been a trap shooting club until we decided to venture into different events to attract a larger number of sportsmen . Our primary goal is to get youth away from the television and back into the outdoors. We currently offer a youth BB gun league, kids fishing derby, youth day and we will soon have a youth archery league.
Club House
The club house has a large pavilion seating area as well as a large indoor seating/event area. The club house also has indoor plumbing, bathrooms, a full kitchen area, an indoor BB gun range and soon to be a indoor archery area. The club house is situated on 117 acres of mostly wooded property with a large trap shooting area, shooting range, well maintained driveway and a fishing lake with it's own pavilion.
Fishing
The club has a gorgeous fishing lake consisting of approximately five acres of water. The lake is stocked with trout, bass, pan fish and other species. The club holds annual fishing derbies at the lake. Additional information on these derbies can be obtained on the events page.
Trap Range
The club has a trap house with five positions at the house. The club has hosted numerous trap teams in the past and is currently putting together a team for the 2022 trap season. Practices at the club will take place on Tuesday evenings starting at 5 pm and Mountaintop League shoots are Wednesday evenings.
Shooting Range
The club has a rifle and pistol range consisting of a 25, 50, and 100 yard shooting distances. The club is in the planning stages of building a separate pistol range for our members and to do some renovating to the rifle range.
Hunting
The club offers hunting on their 117 acres of property for active members of the club.
3D Archery Course
The Club has a 3D course consisting of 30 targets, the course has two halves of 15 targets and has pins for youth, men, women and a challenger pin along with practice targets and our famous novelty shots. Watch our website or Facebook page for more details and schedule of shoots.
